Whether you’ve experienced miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, termination for medical reasons (TFMR), stillbirth, neonatal loss, or infant loss, you deserve compassionate support. The organizations below offer emotional support, financial assistance, bereavement care, counseling, and community for grieving families. You do not have to walk this journey alone.

Provides peer support, remembrance events, online communities, educational resources, and support groups for families experiencing pregnancy or infant loss.

Return to Zero: H.O.P.E.

Provides support groups, counseling referrals, educational resources, and community for families grieving miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death, or infant loss.

Star Legacy Foundation

Provides bereavement support, peer mentoring, pregnancy-after-loss resources, and education while also funding stillbirth research.

MISS Foundation

Provides long-term support, advocacy, counseling referrals, and remembrance programs for families grieving the death of a child.

Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep

Provides free professional remembrance photography for families experiencing the death of a baby during pregnancy or shortly after birth. Through a network of specially trained volunteer photographers, families receive beautifully edited heirloom portraits that honor their baby’s life and create lasting memories. Services are available throughout the United States, including the Pittsburgh area.

Emma’s Footprints

Provides compassionate emotional support, peer mentoring, counseling assistance, support groups, care packages, and financial assistance for funeral, burial, cremation, memorialization, and counseling expenses following pregnancy or infant loss.

TEARS Foundation

Provides compassionate support to families who have experienced the loss of a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death, or infant loss. Services include financial assistance for funeral and cremation expenses, peer support, grief resources, remembrance events, and advocacy. The Pennsylvania chapter serves families throughout the state.
